GovQA is a CDCR authorized third party vendor which facilitates Public Record Act (PRA) requests. Members of the public may still make requests using U.S mail, email, fax, or phone. Those requests will be manually entered and tracked into the CDCR Public Records Portal (PRP) by a CDCR PRA Coordinator. An account on the CDCR PRP can be created to track and manage the request online. All CDCR PRP questions may be directed to Data.Requests@cdcr.ca.gov.
